Alvin Whitney was born in Brooklyn, New York, and has fond memories of growing up with his younger brother, Trey. Alvin has been working in sports television production for over twenty years at CNN, Turner Sports, Sports Illustrated and NBA Entertainment. He is well known and respected as a producer and documentarian in the world of sports. With notable visibility in sports television, over the years, Alvin has also carved out a career outside of producing and has covered sports for the NBA, MLB, March Madness and NCAA Football. Alvin is now a Sports Producer at CNN in Atlanta, GA.
