Nailah Williams, 2012
I am a graduate of Beaufort High School who was able to go on to attend Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) where I earned a B.S. degree in Animal Science and minor in Agri-Business. I would like to thank you all for the help and encouragement that I got during one of the biggest milestones of my life. While attending FAMU I was actively involved on campus joining a faith-based community service organization named Eternal Legendary Queens which I also held the position of President, was one of the founding members of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) chapter at FAMU, a member of MANNRS (Minorities in Agriculture & Natural Resources & Related Sciences, and FAMU/FSU Animal Science Club. I have such a passion for animals with an ultimate goal of becoming a federal veterinarian officer. I have recently been accepted into the University of Florida’s Antimicrobial Resistance Research Program with the North Florida Research and Education Center. I also plan to apply to North Carolina A&T’s Master of Public Health with a focus on Veterinary Medicine in the Fall of 2018. Thank you again for your contribution to my academic success.
