Arianna Sharpe

Age: 16

School: Eagle Hill School, Hardwick, Massachusetts

Arianna started life as a preemie, at 1lb 3oz, so she has always been smaller in size. But it isn’t a disadvantage to be small – as she considers herself an underdog – rather it is a strength to not take things for granted and to always work hard and be active. Arianna is a rising junior at Eagle Hill School where she’s on the Girls Varsity Soccer and Softball teams. She’s a peer tutor, peer mentor a dorm representative on the student council, member of the writing club and Spanish club. Arianna represented her school along with a fellow student and teacher at the AISNE students of Color Conference. Yes, she is really active! Add to all this – she volunteers at the Hardwick Food Pantry and participated twice in Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address Competition.

One might feel overwhelmed with all the activities and responsibilities that Arianna take on, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. She thrives on this. Arianna is already focused on her next goal in college – and that is to double major in Pre Law and English – she wants to become an attorney and an author. Arianna loves to write and to be a lawyer who stands up for the underdog – that is who she is.
