Bob Dandridge

Bob Dandridge is a native of Richmond, VA and a graduate of Norfolk State University. As a student-athlete, he was several times All CIAA and a Small College All American his senior year. Bob also holds the single game tournament scoring record of 50 points.

His career continued for thirteen years in the NBA where he maintained a 19 ppg regular season scoring and 21 ppg in the playoffs. Bob was a four time NBA All-Star, twice an NBA World Champion, and several times a NBA All-Defensive Team member.

After his NBA career, Bob continued to impact pro sports through his concept of “transitional” support for NBA players; which eventually lead to the “Rookie Transition Program” which for twenty years has been used in all three major sports.

He has since then worked as an assistant at Hampton University, Director of Player Programs for the National Basketball Players Association, Executive Director of The Dandridge Group, and is currently Executive Director of the NBA Bullets/Wizards Alumni Association.

Bob lives in Norfolk, VA with his lovely wife Debra and the father of three children; daughters Shana and Morgan, his son Sivad, daughter-in-law Tia and grandson Zackary.
